Dear Parents & Students , Welcome to Midway Elementary Professional Development School. We are excited that you have made Midway your home for this year. We believe that by working together we can make a difference in teaching and learning. It is our vision for our students to become critical thinkers and thereby become the best that they can be. Our motto here at Midway is “All Children Can Learn”. Therefore, we strive daily to make this motto a reality. We encourage each parent to become a member of the PTA as well as a volunteer in your child’s classroom activities. Remember that this is your home for the next year and together as a Midway family we can provide the best possible education for your child or children.
Our school hours are as follows: 7:30 Breakfast Begins 7:50 Instruction Begins 8:00 Breakfast Ends 2:50 Staggered Dismissal Begins

Midway Elementary PDS (Professional Development School) was founded in 2001 on the site of the former Midway Middle School. |

Scholastic Book Fair will be at Midway from October 27—November 4. Special Events: 1. Book Fair will be open during Book Bingo Night Thursday, October 27 from 5:00-6:30. 2. Grandparents Day at Book Fair will be Friday morning October 28 after Awards Ceremonies. 3. LSU-S Shopping Day will be Tuesday November 4 from 8:30—11:00. |
